Our commitment
Feng-yün Song, z.s. is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, regardless of disability, assistive technology, device or connection quality. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What we have implemented
Semantic HTML structure with a single main heading per page and a logical heading order; a skip-to-content link; visible keyboard focus indicators on every interactive element; descriptive alternative text for meaningful images; form fields with associated, visible labels and clear error messages; colour contrast that meets or exceeds the AA threshold, with colour never used as the only way to convey meaning; responsive layouts that reflow without horizontal scrolling down to 320 pixels; and touch targets large enough to be used comfortably on mobile devices.
Known limitations
The map on our Contact page is an embedded third-party map; our full address is always written out in text next to it for anyone using assistive technology. Some embedded content, such as video recordings of past concerts, may not yet carry captions or transcripts — we add them progressively and will supply a transcript on request.
Accessibility beyond the website
Our programmes are designed for accessible participation: step-free access at our registered premises, seating and pacing adapted for senior participants, materials in large print on request, simplified-language versions of key documents, and support with transport where cost or mobility would otherwise prevent someone attending. No participant is excluded for inability to pay.
